“Somewhere Else”

“Somewhere Else” is a project about designing places to live in space that feel welcoming and emotional. Inspired by the Moon, it explores how living on another world can change how we feel and who we are.

The main installation looks like the Moon’s surface, with craters and lights that feel like stars. Visitors can walk through it and feel as if they are on the Moon. The space has two areas: a large communal room with a big asteroid installation and a starry ceiling and an exhibition with floating stones and lights that shine like stars.

Models were made using plaster to look like real Moon rock. The design uses soft colours like white, black and grey to create a peaceful, otherworldly feeling. The project helps people imagine life beyond Earth in a way that feels real and emotional.
